TERRASIGNA was invited to take part in the ”Free Open-Source Solutions for Geo-spatial Information Processing and Representation” workshop organized by geo-spatial.org in 7 October 2016 in Bucharest, with the support of the Faculty of Geography, University of Bucharest, Romania.
Within the first session of the workshop, TERRASIGNA’s experts made presentations on subjects that are addressed within some of its current activities:
- “Free open-source solutions for geo-spatial information processing and representation”;
- “Black Sea Temperature Analysis Using Satellite Imagery”;
- “Opportunities to Use Free Data Sources for Earth Observation Purposes in Developing Countries”.
Satellite imagery solutions provide easy access and a global view of a very dynamic and complex area and allow a wider perspective and understanding over past and present developments of the environment in a clean, cost effective, and modern way.
